The 16th annual BACA concert is Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 4 PM at Congregation B'nai Israel, St. Petersburg. BACA annual concerts feature cantors and cantorial soloists serving the Tampa Bay and Sarasota regions in an eclectic concert of songs by Jewish composers and Jewish styles of music from around the world. Now in its 16th year, BACA's concert celebrates Jewish life with solos and ensembles by a wide range of writers, eras, styles, genres and Jewish cultures. Proceeds benefit cantorial scholarships to Rerform and Conservative sacred music study. To date, nearly $60,000 has been raised by BACA to benefit cantorial scholarships and significant publications of Jewish liturgical music. Entrance is by donation. Suggested donation is $18 per person. All donations are gratefully accepted.
