“Survival in Shanghai” Advance Film Preview and Presentation, March 26 at 1:30 pm

Meet Betty Grebenschikoff, author of Once My Name Was Sarah, made into feature film “Survival in Shanghai.”

Shanghai had received more than 25,000 Jewish refugees from Europe during the Shoah. Discover their story as Chinese television media find the Jewish refugees and their descendants who survived Shanghai Ghetto.  An advance preview of the film will follow introduction and short presentation by the author.  Event will conclude with a Q & A discussion. Refreshments will be served.

Event is Free and Open to the Community. RSVP to Pam Askin at officemgr@cbistpete.org or (727) 381-4901.
