Emotional Intelligence, sometimes referred to as EQ or EI, is the ability to understand your own feelings and emotions, as well as understand the feelings and emotions of others. The personal qualities found in individuals with high EQ/EI – such as perseverance, self-control, and skill in getting along with others – are strong contributors to workplace harmony, retention, and long-term career achievement. In this session, you will learn about the 4 competencies of emotional intelligence and the role they play – in both the hiring process and in achieving workplace success.
